A national roma youths council is
under development and the idea is to give the youths a possibility to
collect ideas and proposals to make the roma youths situation better
than it is today , from youths all over Sweden and try to realize them
thru a intense work with the authorities and the government. |

The Roma Youth Association also works
to prevent drug and alcohol abuse amongst the roma children and youths
and the association takes part in several projects and co-operates with
a numerous organisations and authorities in the struggle against
drugs.One of them is SIMON , Swedish Immigrants against Narkotics. |

The Roma Youths Association also wants
to create a platform were the roma youths can be open minded and discus
current topics that concerns them and also make a bridge between the
